Samayas - sanskrit
The spiritual commitments or bonds that one has with the Master, the practice and the community of practitioners.
Samsara - sanskrit
The cycle of existences which is characterised by suffering. The continual succession of death and rebirth, in which beings have been wandering since beginningless time under the influence of karma.
Sangha - sanskrit
Community. The community of practittioners who follow the Buddha's teachings. More specifically beings who are free from samsara and who protect and guide others.
Siddha - sanskrit
Accomplished one. The name given in India to realised yogis.
