Lay
centre at Croizet
 |
|
The
centre of Karma Guepel Ling, situated approximately
4 kms from Dhagpo Kundreul Ling, was founded in
1997. This place of practice and residence is the
fruit of Lama Gendun Rinpoche's wishes. The centre
was created in order to enable individuals, couples
and families to have access to Dharma teachings
and practices which are applicable to daily life,
delivered in a straight forward manner. |
Dhagpo
Kundreul Ling's lamas are responsible for the centre's
spiritual direction.
Consisting of a renovated farm building situated on
two hectares of land, the centre is managed by 'The
Friends of Croizet' association which has approximately
eighty members.
|
Gendun
Rinpoche expressed the wish that the centre adopt
the five lay vows as common guidelines for its
sound ethical foundation.
- -
Respecting the life of all beings
- -
Respecting others' possessions
- -
Using honest speech
- -
Respecting existing relationships
- -
Refraining from using intoxicants
